8 months and standing strong!

Yup...standing...like a champ, too!

Our little Bean is 8 months old today (happy monthly birthday, little man)and surprised me this morning by greeting me in his crib standing up and smiling at me...the mattress in the crib gets lowered tonight by Daddy, that's for sure!

No new teeth yet, but those 2 little ones that he already has are sharp and love to chomp away on his Baby Mum-Mums (which really aren't that bad of a snack for Mom occassionally).
He's still not fond of his swimming lessons yet, but once he realized that they bring out a floating fish for him to sit inside of while Daddy pulls him around by the rope...it's all good!

Liam also had his first visit to the Good Food Festival in Mississauga on Friday morning. He did great in the massively busy (and pushy) crowd of foodies and those who just wanted free crap. (more of the latter were there, I think). He was able to be part of the taste testing at the Pete's Tofu stand where he tried Mandarin Orange/Mango tofu...it was actually really tasty...he ate the whole thing. We visited the Food Network live cooking stage when Anthony Sedlak from the tv show "The Main" was cooking butternut squash and chicken. (ironically, Liam was eating his squash from home at the same time!)

He enjoys his evening walks with Mom and Dad...even though he ends up falling asleep just before reaching home :)
