With Steve having a week off from work, we decided to get out and finally take Liam to Wings of Paradise, just outside of Cambridge. Neither Steve or myself had ever been before so out we trekked on a very chilly and windy May morning to experience the conservatory.
It's really quite a beautiful place where you can get upclose and personal (well, as much as you'd really want to with an insect, that is) with many different species of butterflies, birds, turtles, fish and plant life. You're welcome to bring your camera in with you and we did see several amateur photographers getting some incredible shots while we were there.
Liam seemed to really enjoy having lots of butterflies of all sizes fluttering by his face and some even landing on his hands! One also happened to land on Steve's head and look a little like a hair clip...tee hee...
